Grand Island Facilities

Omaha TransLoading has recently expanded its reach significantly to the west. This new Grand Island location will allow OTL to more effectively service Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings and the surrounding region. The site is located within the 1,700 acre Cornhusker Industrial Park and can be accessed by Interstate 80, US Highways 281, 30 and 34 and State Highway 2. Additionally, it is at the cross roads of two Class 1 railroads, Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe. The establishment of a second Omaha TransLoading site is a significant development that improves both service and the economics of shipping in Central Nebraska. This expanded location provides Omaha TransLoading the ability to offer significant cost savings to its clients and to aggressively pursue all transloading opportunities in the region.

The Grand Island facility mirrors the Omaha location by providing expert service in handling all three types of transloading.  Bulk, dimensional and warehoused goods are loaded, unloaded and stored with efficiency and excellence at both facilities.

Rail lines for both Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe provide service to the 10 acre site in the Grand Island Cornhusker Industrial Park.   This dual rail served site has over 15 transloading spots and 60 storage spots. The 8,000 SF warehouse, combined with a paved surface storage area, is a tremendous local asset to businesses shipping to and from Central Nebraska.     Security for the Grand Island facility includes lighted and 24-hour monitored video surveillance.
